My dad bought it when I was in the eighth grade
My mom was very fussy why he should buy
My dad convinced her that all the school girls have one
I met with accidents twice, and got a severe wound in my foot once in the early days

I felt I have grown wings once I got it
It gifted freedom to my bookworm mind,
broke all boundaries of the old rotten society
of why a girl should always stay indoor

It set me free from ties of dependency
It gave me the taste of myself, my individuality
brought new experiences, people and places into my life
and left me with a lot of happy reminiscences.
