| People just want to find love. Being in a committed and secure relationship is what many people are desperately seeking. The problem is that most of these people don’t realize they have to be secure and full in and of themselves before they will be ready to find their soul mate. Loving yourself is one of the hardest things for people in our modern age to do. There are so many messages we receive that tell us what we should be, what we should look like, and how our lives need to be successful and all of it is lies.
The truth is that you should be whoever you want to be; whether that fits into societal standards or not. The truth is that love isn’t like a fairy tale or movie and if your soul mate is out there; they are waiting for you to be a full and complete human being. When you feel like a complete individual you will be a shining beacon to others. People will see you as a more beautiful being because you will love yourself and that love will stretch out and touch others. From this place you will be more likely to see others who also shine with this self love.
